Photo Recap: Northwest Vocal Music Trip to Spain/Portugal

Waukee Northwest’s vocal music department went on a choir tour to Spain and Portugal over the 2023 summer. The coir traveled across the northwestern coast of Spain and ended the trip in Porto, Portugal.

Throughout the 10 days of travel, the choir performed four promoted concerts. The choir also was asked to sing a few pieces impromptu at the Cathedral De Santiago. It is known for being the end of the St. James pilgrimage. It was an honor for Northwest’s choir to perform, as only the most prestigious select choirs are allowed to sing in the chapel.
