(Above) Northwest’s Powderpuff game, which occurred after Waukee Northwest’s coronation and NW fest. The junior and sophomore Powderpuff players were playing against each other after the sophomore team lost against the senior team with a tie, as the higher grade team won. The sophomores also lost against the juniors in a tie.
(Left) During school, Waukee Northwest and its Student Council held a pep rally in support of the upcoming Homecoming game that night. Students participated in a few activities, with one being a tug-of-war between grades. The student council chooses volunteers for each grade.
