Summer Concert Collage

Northwest High School juniors Sierra Pradhan and Ella Rinken went to the Arctic Monkeys concert on August 25th in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Pradhan said, “[My favorite song was] probably 505 because I used to listen to it a lot my freshman year, so it was really cool for me to see that live.” The indie-rock band was an exciting experience for Pradhan and her friends.

Senior Olivia Nicorata attended Taylor Swift’s Eras tour on June 23rd in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Nicorata said, “I loved the environment and making friends with everyone.” Her outfit was inspired by Swift’s Red album. Getting to hear the surprise song “Paper Rings” and getting to sing and dance, was Nicorata’s favorite part of the concert.

Sophomores Addy Tillman and Alex Hogenson went to the Megan Moroney concert on August 17th at the Iowa State Fair. Hogenson said, “Our favorite part of the concert was when [Moroney] played Tennesee Orange and Hair Solon which are our two favorite songs.” Both Tillman and Hogenson loved the artist for her music and for how nice she was. 

Cara Headlee and Calvin Carroll, both sophomores at Northwest High School, went to the Zach Bryan concert in Hinterland, Iowa on August 8th. Headlee said, “My favorite part of the concert was probably the whole thing but at the end of the concert I got Zach Bryan’s guitar picks.” Headlee also enjoyed the song “Revival”- the last song of the performance for the craziness of the crowd and band.
